IBON Foundation, Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit non-government development organization that focuses on research-education-information and advocacy work on various local and international socioeconomic issues. As part of its education and advocacy work, IBON regularly holds the IBON Birdtalk, a semestral briefing discussing our assessment on the economic and political situation. This midyear's IBON Birdtalk will be held on July 12 and 13, 2012, 1-5 p.m. at the UP Balay Internasyunal (Balay Kalinaw).
The Midyear Birdtalk is IBON's semi-annual briefing of the country's economic and political situation, trends and prospects. This year's Birdtalk will feature IBON's latest data and analysis on real condition of the people in the last six months as well as provide important flash points in the coming months, post-Corona impeachment and leading up to the May 2013 midterm elections. It is our hope that the Midyear Birdtalk will be our contribution to the many educational sessions that will take place as the country prepares for the State of the Nation Address of President Aquino on July 24, 2012.
